Five people have been arrested and face a number of drug-related charges after Gatineau police, acting on a tip, raided a home Wednesday afternoon.
The raid at 172 Dumas St. yielded 28 marijuana plants, 2.8 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of cocaine as well as equipment used for the trafficking of prohibited substances.
Of the five people arrested, two men aged 47 and 48, were released after the investigation.
One of the two men, the 48-year-old, will appear at the Court of Quebec to a charge of simple possession of narcotics at a later date. The other was released without charge.
A 29-year-old woman and two men, aged 24 and 35, were to appear in court on Thursday on charges of trafficking and cannabis cultivation.
