A reported sexual assault on a commercial bus was one of two sex-assault cases that have resulted in charges, provincial police in the Cornwall area said Tuesday.
Officers from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry detachment responded at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report that an adult woman had been assaulted on a bus travelling on Highway 401. Hans Caicedo, 35, of St. Catharines, Ont., was arrested and will appear in court in Morrisburg in December.
On Oct. 29, a 70-year-old man from Lasalle, Que., was charged in a reported sexual assault on an adult male at a residence in South Glengarry Township. Denis Vaillancourt is scheduled to appear in court in Alexandria later this month.
