Strong winds in Ottawa and Gatineau Friday afternoon led Environment Canada to issue a warning.
The weather agency said that winds may gust up to 100 km/h as a “vigorous cold front” moves into eastern Ontario. It is expected to sweep across Gatineau and Ottawa by 1 p.m.
Strong winds could cause damage to roof shingles and windows, and loose objects may be tossed around, Environment Canada warned.
