On Saturday, Nov. 14, the Canadian Cancer Society will launch its Pigs of Hope fundraiser at the St. Laurent Mall. The Canadian Cancer Society will be at St. Laurent handing out pigs from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Participants will be able to adopt a cute little piggy bank and bring it home to be filled with money by their family, friends and co-workers throughout the next month. Money raised will go to the Wheels of Hope program, which funds transportation costs for those in need of assistance in getting to their cancer treatments.
