If you could dream it, you might have been able to find it on Saturday during Day 1 of the Maker Faire at the Aberdeen Pavilion.
“We’re calling it the greatest show and tell on Earth,” co-organizer Remco Volmer said Saturday. “It’s a little bit of a county fair, a little bit of a science fair, but bigger than both of those together.
“There’s a wide variety of tinkerers, inventors, artists, engineers, just makers of all kinds sharing their ideas.”
Imagination and ingenuity was on display at every turn as everything from tech enthusiasts to hobbyists to science clubs, authors and commercial exhibitors shared their talents and creations with the public.
The all-ages Maker Faire continues on Sunday at Lansdowne Park from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., with workshops for children and interactive displays.
