Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect involved in a drugstore robbery Oct. 6.
Police say the suspect went into a pharmacy in the 500 block of Rideau Street at about 10:40 a.m.
He approached a cashier and demanded cash, indicating he had a gun, although none was seen. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and he fled.
There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as having a “darker complexion,” about five-feet-nine-inches (175 cm) tall, weighing 180 pounds (82kg), with short black hair with some grey, and a black moustache.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing a windbreaker, blue jeans and grey shoes.
