A young woman is dead following a late-night crash on Chemin Taché in Gatineau.
Police said speed is suspected as a factor in the crash in which a car went out of control and slammed into a guardrail.
Police have yet to release the victim’s identity except to say she was 19.
A passenger in the car managed to escape unscathed.
Detours remain in place along the thoroughfare as the investigation continues.
