Diplomatic leaders in Ottawa visited the French Embassy on Sussex Drive Saturday to express condolences and leave flowers in memory of the attacks in Paris.
Slovakian Ambassador Andre Droba and Hungarian envoy Bálint Ódor were observed paying their respects Saturday.
A candlelight vigil for victims of the Paris terrorist attacks is to be held Saturday at the French Embassy at 42 Sussex Drive, one of a growing number of a commemorations surfacing around the city to mark Friday night’s slaughter.

Organizers said candles will be provided and a book of condolences present.

Meanwhile, in solidarity with the people of France, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson Saturday has ordered the French flag to be flown for three days at city hall.
As well, flags have been lowered to half-staff at Gatineau city hall.
