Ottawa police confirmed Tuesday they are investigating shots fired early Monday morning at an address in the 900 block of Debra Avenue.
It is the 41st shooting incident of the year in Ottawa. No one was injured in the incident.
Police were called just before 5 a.m. Monday for reports of shots being fired on the street, which was the scene of another shooting incident last week.
Officers did not immediately find any evidence of shots having been fired.
However, officers returned at 4 p.m., when they found a home with bullet holes in a front window and bullets lodged in a wall iside.
Police guns and gangs investigators ask that anyone with information call the unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa police app.
