Question about cars

I am a 19 years old guy, and I only have G1. So, can I buy a car? How about the insurance. I hear the G1 Insurance is covered by the government. Is that true?

And who knows if any company gives deal to students have a high standing of academy and extracurricular activities?

1. Of course you can buy a car.
2. Shop around. But the insurance is very high for G1 drivers.
3. Government doesn't cover anything for you.
3. No such companies I've ever heard of. But you can buy the university or colledge group policies.
