The Sûreté du Québec has updated pictures of two women who disappeared more than seven years ago in Maniwaki.

Shannon Alexander and Maisy Odjik disappeared Sept. 6, 2008. They were last seen at a home in Maniwaki. Maisy was 16 and Shannon 17 at the time.

The Sûreté, Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg Police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and Ontario Provincial Police have been looking for them, but without success.

On Thursday, the SQ put out a new appeal, with the following descriptions as well as photos altered to show how they could look today, at about age 24.
