A 77-year-old woman involved in a crash on Highway 417 westbound, between Boundary Road and Anderson Road, died as a result of her injuries over the weekend, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
Police have identified the woman as Renate Tanaka-Schuster of Montreal. She was alone at the time of accident. Her vehicle unexpectedly left the roadway and struck a sign around 9:21 a.m. Friday.
A police investigation into the crash has been closed.
