Police say a man sought after a violent sexual assault on Wolfe Island, near Kingston, has been arrested.
Michael Ross Burnett, 39, was taken into custody by Kingston police on Sunday, Ontario Provincial Police reported. He’s charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm and forcible confinement.
A 34-year-old woman was taken to hospital after an assault that took place between Dec. 8 and Dec. 11, police said.
