No charges in alleged assault on airplane

Ottawa police say they have closed an investigation in allegations of assault against a child on an Air Canada flight from Montreal to Ottawa on Dec. 13.

Police said no charges will be laid. They did not release further details.

Police had been called to the Ottawa International Airport to investigate a report that a child travelling with a parent on the flight had been attacked by a stranger.
