Volunteer Ottawa would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers who donated their time, talents and enthusiasm in 2015. Because of you, Ottawa is a better place to live.
We would also like to thank the Ottawa Citizen for providing us with a great place to showcase our organizations’ volunteer requests. On many occasions, we have received positive feedback as they have told us time and again how posting in the Volunteer Roundup has helped them to find much-needed volunteers.
Volunteers provide transportation, serve meals, assist students, help newcomers feel at home, care for animals, provide support to seniors, help with festivals, perform, entertain, prepare taxes, develop websites and shovel snow, just to name a few ways that they work selflessly all year.
