An Arnprior man is facing attempted murder charges after provincial police said three people were attacked with an “edged weapon” early on New Year’s Day.
Renfrew OPP said they were called to a home on Gillies Street in McNab-Braeside Township at 4:27 a.m. after two men and a woman were injured by an armed man. One of the men had suffered a serious wound and was taken to hospital by paramedics, police said. The other two suffered only minor injuries.
The suspect had fled the scene by the time police arrived.
The OPP eventually tracked down the suspect about 11 hours later at a residence in Arnprior.
Police said Kory Robillard-Delahunt, 23, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and four counts of uttering threats.
