A man has died in a dramatic crash Wednesday morning in which a car flipped from the northbound 416 overpass onto Highway 417 eastbound.
The crash occurred at 8:15 a.m. when a black four-door sedan left the northbound Highway 416 road crashing on its roof onto the 417 eastbound lanes.
Paramedics reported a “male possibly in his 20s-30s inside the vehicle and he was declared deceased at the scene.”
No other injuries were reported.
Police said Highway 416 northbound to 417 westbound was closed, but eastbound access available. Highway 417 eastbound was closed with traffic diverted at Holly Acres Road.
