Dr. Lu will give an introduction to the fascinating world of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy and lead a live interactive session of acupuncture. Lacey will discuss the growth and integration of TCM in Ontario.
Dr. Lu is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and a registered Acupuncturist with over 20 years of experience in China and in Canada. She received her Medical Doctor Degree at the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and recently opened the Canada Academy of Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture (CATMA) in Ottawa. CATMA teachers have a strong academic background in TCM and acupuncture based on at least 5 years of university-level TCM education.
Lacey Sheng holds a Master's Degree from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine. She is currently a postgraduate student in Health Administration at the University of Ottawa. Out of her many research interests, she is passionate and knowledgeable about understanding and promoting the integration of TCM.
*No pre-registration. Entry is free for CCFS members and $5 for non-CCFS members. Memberships are available at the door.
