The Ontario Provincial Police are hunting for a federal parolee from Ottawa who allegedly breached his parole.
Victor Buglar, 37, was on parole after serving a two-year and nine-month sentence for theft over $5,000, break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime and driving while disqualified. Buglar, who has been incarcerated federally twice before his most recent sentence, is now wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant.
Police said the heavily tattooed Buglar has a tattoo of a skull, flames and birds on his left upper arm, cross anchors on his left forearm, a tribal tattoo with an eagle covering his entire right arm and tattoos of the map of Newfoundland on his chest and a scorpion on his abdomen. He is 5-1o and weighs 186 lbs., according to police.
Buglar is from Ottawa but also has connections in Alberta, British Columbia and the East Coast.
Anyone who has had contact with Buglar or knows his whereabouts is asked call the provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad at 416-808-5900 or toll free at 1-866-870-ROPE (7673) or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
