A woman in her late 40s was taken to hospital in critical condition after collapsing at the Canadian Tire Centre on Friday night just before an NHL game between the Ottawa Senators and New York Islanders.
Ottawa paramedics responded after receiving a call at 6:56 p.m. that a woman had collapsed just inside Gate 1.
After determining that she was in cardiac arrest, she was resuscitated by paramedics assigned to the NHL game and transported to hospital with vital signs.
