Ottawa man collects $1-million prize

An Ottawa man has more than a million reasons to smile these days, after winning Lotto 6/49’s “guaranteed” million-dollar payout in a draw two weeks ago.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. announced that Michael Miller won $1,000,005 on a ticket bought at a Hasty Market on Wellington Street. The overall $5-million winning ticket from the Jan. 13 draw was purchased in Saskatoon.
