Police have charged a man with uttering death threats against a female reporter during a live broadcast.
According to police, the reporter was doing a live broadcast on Clarence St. on the morning of Jan. 20 when she was approached by a man “who threatened to shoot and kill her.”
The incident was reported to police, who found the suspect Wednesday in the downtown area and arrested him without incident.
Thomas Gero, 41, is charged with uttering death threats.
He is due to appear in court Thursday.
