Gatineau police have charged a gang affiliate after a domestic violence incident involving a gun early Thursday morning.
Police received a call shortly before 2 a.m. and quickly dispatched the tactical and K9 units to intervene because of a potential danger to the public. Police would not say who called police or where they were called to.
A man was arrested and charged with forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, possession of a weapon and pointing a firearm.
Police said they would not release the man’s name to protect the identity of the victim.
