Five people, including a child, have been displaced by a fire Monday night at a house in the Plateau neighbourhood of Old Hull.
The blaze was called in at about 9:30 p.m. at the home De la Civilisation Street.
It was declared under control about one hour later, but Red Cross was called to help the four adults and child who lived there.
Firefighters estimated damages at $40,000 and there was no immediate word on the cause of the blaze.
