A long stretch of Prince of Wales Drive was closed to traffic Friday morning due to what’s being described only as a “police operation.”
Police report negotiators have been called to deal with an individual barricaded inside a building somewhere on the stretch between Deakin Street and Amberwood Crescent.
Paramedics are also reportedly attending.
Police would not provide any further information.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
