Emergency crews responded to a vehicle that had rolled over near the intersection of Kinburn Side Road and Mohrs Road near the suburb of Kinburn to find a mother and a seven-month-old standing on the side of the roadway.
Paramedics worked to assess the 38-year-old female driver, who pulled herself and her infant son from the vehicle which was lying on its side, shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday.
According to emergency responders the infant was sitting in his car seat, which was properly installed and prevented him from being banged around, but the two were still transported to hospital for precautionary reasons.
A cause for the rollover has not yet been determined. Police are investigating.
