An unidentified man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was found in an Aylmer apartment by police Saturday morning.
Gatineau police said the man, whose age was not given but is a resident of Aylmer, was found at about 10:15 a.m. in the apartment with injuries to his body. Police did not say what alerted them to the man’s condition.
A suspect was taken into custody early Saturday, though police would not say if they were male or female. Police also would not comment on whether the suspect was found in the apartment where the victim was located.
Police said it did not immediately appear as if a gun or knife were involved in the injuries and they were not looking for more people involved in the incident.
