Ottawa police are seeking help from the public to identify a suspect in a sexual assault on Sunday morning near Carling and Alpine avenues in Ottawa’s west end.
Police said an unidentified male approached a woman in her early 20s in the area – near Elmhurst Park – and tried to take off her pants. When the woman resisted, the man fled on foot.
The alleged incident happened around 3 a.m. Sunday.
The victim described the man to police as a white male with a thin build, standing 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-11. His age is unknown.
He was dressed in a black bomber-style winter jacket and bulky black boots up to his mid-calf.
