Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying a car that may have been involved in an unsolved January homicide.
Marwan Arab, 20, was shot to death inside the Shifa Restaurant on Cobden Rd., while his cousin Ayyub Arab, 22, was shot and wounded.
Police released a photo of what they’re calling a “vehicle of interest” – a white Chevrolet Malibu, 2004 or 2005 model year, with tinted windows and black rims. The car was seen running a red light at the intersection of Iris Street and Woodroffe Avenue around 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 31, shortly after the time of the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call major crime investigators at 613-236-1222, ext. 5493.
