Two teenagers were taken to hospital after they were struck by a vehicle on Greenbank and Wessex roads Monday afternoon.
The teens were hit shortly before 3 p.m. Ottawa paramedics said a 16-year-old boy was treated for a serious head injury before he was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
A 15-year-old girl was treated for facial injuries and was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Ottawa police warned drivers to avoid the area, although it has since reopened to traffic.
