Ottawa police have arrested two men in connection with a string of break and enters that occurred in new homes throughout the city.
The investigation started in October 2015 after items like furnaces, gas fireplaces, kitchen appliances and construction equipment went missing.
The arrests were made on Mar. 7 after the men allegedly committed a break-in in the city’s west end.
Robert Armstrong, 46, is facing 21 charges including break and enter, mischief to property and theft among other charges. Archibald McKay is charged with break and enter, possessing break-in tools and possessing property obtained by crime.
The investigation is ongoing.
