Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help to find a male suspect who was seen walking away with a television set on March 1 in the 1300 block of Meadowlands Drive.
A man was observed walking away with a large, approximately 72-inch television, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m, police said. The owner of the television was in the process of moving when it was stolen. The television set is valued under $5,000.
The suspect is described as a male with light brown skin, a dark, full beard and black hair. He was wearing dark-framed glasses and a black hoodie.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call Ottawa Police’s West District Neighbourhood Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2613. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
