A witness to a daylight stabbing on a secluded bicycle path Tuesday that sent a young woman to hospital with managed to restrain the attacker until police arrived.
Gatineau police said the woman was stabbed on Tuesday afternoon on a path behind the Robert-Geurtin Arena in Hull.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The alleged attacker, a man in his 50s, was also taken to hospital with unknown injures.
