The Arbour family from Kanata joined hundreds of others in exploring the Cold War landmark Diefenbunker in Carp on Saturday.
The relic, a four-storey, 300-room, 100,000-square-foot underground facility, was meant to house 535 Canadian government officials and military officers in the event of a nuclear war.
It’s now a tourist attraction and, at Easter, an ideal spot to tuck away Easter goodies for the kids.
Photographer James Park tracked the Arbours in their travels.
