A woman has been injured in an early morning shooting in Bells Corners on Easter Sunday.
Ottawa police have cordoned off several residential streets in the neighbourhood after gun shots were fired at about 5 a.m. in a house on an undisclosed street in the area.
Police said one woman, in her 20s, was injured. The extent of her injuries was not made public.
Members of the police Major Crime division are currently interviewing witnesses and do not have anyone in custody.
No major streets have been closed by their investigation.
