A family of three was displaced after a fire at 297 Parkin Circle late Sunday afternoon.
The family was arriving home with its dog when the fire was discovered. Ottawa firefighters responded to a call about heavy smoke showing in the single detached residence at 4:13 p.m., and when they arrived on scene found that the interior of the home was fully involved.
The fire was under control at 4:49, with one firefighter suffering non-critical injuries.
An Ottawa fire investigator was at the scene. No cause or damage estimates were immediately released.
