I believe that I am good driver. I have been driving in the North America perfectly for more than 5 years. However, starting from last year, bad luck came to me one after another. Now I become the one whom no insurance company for low risk wants to provide auto-insurance to me. One reason is that I have a fault accident. Here is what happened to me for the accident.
In year 2002 around Chinese New Year, My wife and went to a friend's house to celebrate the Chinese New Year. My friend lives in Kanata Lake and I live in Morgan's Grant. Afraiding of lateness, I chose a short-cut but very tough road which I never drove in the winter. It is called Goulbourn Forced Road and now changes to Terry Fox Drive. On two sides of the road, there are forest trees and bushes. The road is up and down and has lots of turns. Unfortunately, when my wife and I left the house at that day, it started to icy rain. When I saw a car slipped on the entrance, I began to feel something wrong. The road was so slippy and I could hardly control my wheel. Then one car drove toward me in a turn and started to slip to my side, I turned my wheel to another side immediately and lost control. When I began to realize what had happened, my car had already fallen into the bushes down the hill. My wife and I managed to escape from the car. However, when I climed up to the road, I slipped by myself. Two minutes later, a truck came to spread salts on the road. Damn, why the salt truck came so late. Someone passing by called the police. The police made the record and my driving speed was below normal. The next day, the road was close for a week due to bad road condition. Of course, my car got repaired paid by insurance. However, since there was no another car involved, the adjuster made the conclusion that it was my fault. However, I am really feeling unfair. They city should be responsible for the accident. The road was so bad to drive and they misled people! Does anyone know whom I talk to address my concern?
