Edmonton homicide detectives have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a 21-year-old man in connection to a fatal shooting of two former Ottawa men last weekend.

Arman Dhillon, 21, is wanted by police after two men were shot early Sunday outside the Tribute Lounge bar.

Mohammed Abdullahi, 30, died in hospital. His family members said Abdullahi’s brother Bilal, who is in his 20s, was also shot. He is in serious but stable condition in hospital.

Dhillon is wanted on 21 charges including first-degree murder, attempted murder while using a restricted firearm, aggravated assault, using a firearm in commission of an offence and other unspecified offences.

He is described by police as an East Indian male, with dark brown eyes and black hair. Dhillon is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Friends described Mohammed Abdullahi, who once worked as bouncer and security guard, as a “big teddy bear.”

Police have declared two other deaths that occurred in the past few days as homicides, bringing Edmonton’s total this year to 11.
