A 30-year-old teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board is facing sex charges after allegedly being involved in a sexual relationship with one of her students.
Jessica Beraldin of Ottawa was to appear in court Friday on charges of sexual assault, sexual exploitation and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
Police say their investigation revealed that the relationship began while Beraldin was a teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board. They also say they are concerned that there may be more victims.
The board says Beraldin has been suspended from duty.
