Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement. This is the statement. It’s awful.
“A low pressure system is expected to bring significant snowfall to the area beginning overnight tonight and continues into Wednesday. Snow is expected to be heavy at times on Wednesday. Current indications suggest possible snowfall accumulation of 5 to 10 cm by Wednesday evening. There is still some uncertainty*** regarding the exact location of the heaviest snow.”
***there is some uncertainty as to whether we can deal with this anymore. Ottawa’s weather is you’re naked, your body is lathered in peanut butter, and you’re in a pit of feral badgers in heat. AND you’re allergic to peanut butter.
Sorry, we digress. This weather has just been so craptastic recently that it brought your weather writer out of retirement for today.

Anyway, we’re not sure we have much more to say beyond the fact that we occasionally miss writing stories that don’t have a natural ending and instead just end with a picture of a goat or tweets about dogs like this:
