A 42-year-old man was killed when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving collided with a tractor trailer near North Dundas on Wednesday afternoon.
The ATV was traveling north on County Road 16 when it collided with the truck going in the opposite direction just south of County Road 3 at around 5:45 p.m., according to Ontario Provincial Police.
The ATV operator, Bradley Tinkler of South Dundas township, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was a 39-year-old man from Ottawa. He sustained no injuries.
The crash is under investigation. The OPP said it is considering alcohol and speed as factors and that charges are not expected.
