Town house fire overnight in Ottawa's east end

Ottawa Fire Services is reporting a fire Tuesday night at 1968 Summerfields Crescent, the end unit of a six-unit row house near Innes Road and Orléans Blvd. They declared a working fire at 3:18 a.m. and had the blaze under control by 3:30. There were no injuries, but firefighters stayed on the scene to check for spread of the fire into neighbouring units.
