Hydro One is investigating a large power failure that is affecting customers from Sharbot Lake, west of Carleton Place, all the way across the city to Rockland.
According to an information update released by the utility the cause of the blackout is still under investigation.
However, more than 10,000 customers are believed to be affected.
The earliest the power could return is around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Hydro One.
