Duo with alleged links to biker gangs appear in L'Orignal court

Two men with alleged links to the Rock Machine and Hell’s Angels biker gangs appeared briefly in a courtroom in L’Orignal on firearms charges Monday.

Jean-François Émard and Pascal Carrier were surrounded by heavy police security including a dog sniffing for explosives.

The two were arrested in Casselman Friday night.

Both are charged with possession of prohibited firearms, resisting police and other offences. They will remain in custody for now.
