A 46-year-old woman was rushed to hospital with multiple injuries including head trauma after being hit by a bus at the Baseline Transitway station over the rush hour.
The pedestrian was struck at 5:14 p.m. at the station opposite Algonquin College and taken at the highest level of priority by paramedics to the regional trauma centre at the Civic campus of The Ottawa Hospital.
Police said an investigator is at the hospital to monitor her condition and an investigation is underway.
