Attention motorists and cyclists: There’s yet another road for you to avoid this summer.
The city announced Friday that starting Monday, Kent Street between Catherine and Wellington streets, will be the site of daytime and overnight lane reductions, in order to allow for road rehabilitation work.
Sidewalk repairs will be done in order to minimize the impact on pedestrians, the city said in a release.
OC Transpo will be installing temporary bus stops where required for the duration of the work.
The work is expected to be completed by mid- to late June, depending on the weather.
