Ottawa police are on the hunt for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in Sandy Hill Thursday.
A woman in her early 20s was walking on Besserer Street around 10 p.m. when a man grabbed her and pulled her into a secluded area.
The assault was interrupted by a man and woman out walking their dog. When the pair approached the area, the suspect ran away.
The suspect is described by police as a white man, between the ages of 20 and 30, around five-foot-10 with a slim build and dark medium-length curly hair. He was last seen wearing a hat, dark, baggy pants that may have been cargo pants and a black sweater.
Anyone with information can call the Ottawa police sexual assault and child abuse unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5944.
