Ottawa – The City of Ottawa will honour OC Transpo employees for their heroic acts in 2015 at the 26th annual Transecure Awards ceremony. The 2015 Transecure Employee of the Year will also be announced at the event. These employees, because of their quick actions and compassion for others, have prevented serious accidents from occurring and have made a positive difference in many lives.
Date: Friday, May 13
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Winner of the 2015 Transecure Employee of the Year will be announced at approximately 11:40 a.m.
Location: Shenkman Arts Centre, Richcraft Theatre, 245 Centrum Boulevard
The ceremony will include presentations from Deputy Mayor Mark Taylor, Councillor Stephen Blais, Chair of the Transit Commission, John Manconi, General Manager of Transit Services, and Co-Chairs of the Transecure Committee Troy Charter, Assistant General Manager, Transit Operations and Richard Potvin Vice-President, ATU Local 279.
