Pop giant Justin Bieber has converted the folks at the Château Lafayette, the Market beer parlour better known as the home of rough ‘n’ ready country singer Lucky Ron into a bunch of True Beliebers.

The institution was all over Bieber’s case on Twitter earlier this week after the star stopped in for a quick beverage on Thursday before his Friday night show at CTC.

As people of his star calibre do, The Bieb apparently left settling up duties in the hands of a minion who, with fiscal responsibility apparently foremost on his mind, stiffed the server.

.@justinbieber just stopped by the Laff for a beer! Guess no one told his "people" to tip their server! #welcomebacktoCanada #tipyourserver

The tweet went interplanetary, with supporters quick to note the superstar had nothing to do with the alleged cheapness. He has people to handle these things.

Whatever the circumstances, the full house at the CTC apparently prompted a rethink in Camp Bieber and Justin himself apparently returned very late Friday with $100, in the form of five U.S. $20 bills. (About $129 in our local currency and apparently pledged to server Adam Scully.)

The Laff was appropriately gracious and grovelling with a late-night tweet featuring a hashtag: #isittoolatetosaysorry?

.@justinbieber you are in fact a class act. #isittoolatetosaysorry #beliebers @actuallyscully will be so happy! pic.twitter.com/hnhCqYk45h

Staff at the Chateau Lafayette were letting their tweet do the talking Saturday.

Meanwhile, it appears the Bieb blew off some post-show steam at Tequila Jack’s in the Market. No word on tipping.
