A driver who was going more than twice the speed limit in a Gatineau school zone has received a $531 ticket and had his license suspended for a week.
Gatineau police said an officer with laser radar caught the driver going 72 km/h in a 30 km/h zone in a school zone on Eardley Road Monday.
Police said the 35-year-old driver also received six demerit points to go with the hefty fine and license suspension.
